Let’s get it together! Are you finding that you are rushing to do this or that? Or maybe that you just don’t have the time that you use to when it comes to getting things done? It’s time to take the time to GET IT TOGETHER! Remove the clutter and redo your schedule. It’s time to stop procrastinating as well. If you can’t take a complete day or so to do something to help you to get organized, at least do a little at a time so that progress is made. If you are a mother who wears many hats like I do, have the kiddos do some of the chores around the house. Create a simple check list for them for when they get home from school. Make a schedule of the laundry days, grocery shopping days and things of that sort. Schedule your bills for some type of automated payment service such as online billpay so that you don’t have to take the time to sit down and write out checks for every bill or call in for phone payments and get hit with the processing fees. You can have two dates a month that you disburse funds for bills, such as the 1st and 15th of each month. Just be sure to schedule them on the date that will not make them late. If you need to call to have your payment dates moved around to make things easier, than consider that as well. The whole goal is to simplify your life so that you can enjoy it! Any unnecessary spending can be stopped so that the funds can go towards your debt. If you currently eat out a lot, think about how much you would be saving if you placed that money into an investment account instead or allowed that money to go towards paying off that credit card that’s charged to the limit. You have to have some self discipline which will payoff as long as you are committed. Start today and see where you are in the next six months. You’ll be so proud of yourself and have a great feeling of achievement when you see how much more free time you have and how much closer you’ve gotten towards your financial freedom goals.

If you look around at your surroundings, you will notice a change in community activities. There are fewer programs for after school care, sports, and educational programs to help kids sharpen their minds, or hand and eye coordination’s. I would suggest to you that the grips of fear are spreading like wild flowers and the clutched fists are not releasing the currency as they should. That is ok, as long as you are aware of the demographics that are taking place and the season of the times that we are living in. What makes life most affective is your understanding of what season you’re in and knowing how to walk through this season to achieve success.

“Pick Shyra’s Brain”
Question: I want to get my business cards designed for my new business. So that I don’t have to redo them later, please let me know the key items you suggest I include on the card.
Answer: Definitely include all of your contact information, such as your name, company, address, phone number, fax and email. If you have a website, you’ll want to include this as well. You should also consider including your logo and remember to be consistent with your stationary and/or any other printed items you have for your company. Depending on the line of work you are in, you can also consider placing a professional headshot of yourself on the business card if you do not have a logo. This works great when you are handing out your business cards at networking events.
The backside can be used as a marketing tool for you, so look into including a discount coupon that’s reusable, listing of services, prices or even testimonials.
If any of the content ever changes, get new business cards printed with the updated information. Never cross out information and write on your business cards. Image is important and we want to make sure that we portray your professionalism as well.
